7:43 PMManchester City's Brazilian forward Robinho is pleased about being linked with a move to Barcelona but insists he is not engineering a return to La Liga.
There has been speculation Barca will try to sign Robinho in January. And the former Real Madrid star, 25, told Brazilian radio station Radio Bandeirantes: "I'm very happy about the interest that Barcelona have in me."
But he added: "I'm not forcing a hypothetical exit from England and nor do I have problems with my coach."
Robinho joined City from Real in August 2008 for a British record £32.5m, but has been closely linked with a move to Barcelona since the summer.
He has often spoken of his admiration of Barcelona and explained that, by playing for Pep Guardiola's side, he would have a better chance of realising his ambition of becoming the greatest player on the planet.
Robinho added: "Playing in the Nou Camp it is much easier to be the best player in the world than at City."
The Brazil international is currently sidelined with an ankle injury and, on 22 October, City manager Mark Hughes revealed he may not return until his side face Liverpool on 21 November.
At the same time, Hughes played down reports of Barca's interest, saying: "Nothing has changed in respect of Robi. He won't be leaving us, and that's the top and bottom of it."

Footballers have been warned spitting on the pitch during games could raise the risk of spreading swine flu.
The Health Protection Agency said the habit of spitting "could increase the risk of passing on infections".
However, Chelsea coach Carlo Ancelotti said he was "not worried" about the threat of swine flu at his club despite having played Rovers on Saturday.
Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce suggested members of the Rovers squad, three of whom were confirmed with the virus earlier this week, may have passed on the infection during their 5-0 defeat by Chelsea last Saturday.
But Ancelotti stated: "The flu is not only on the pitch, it's everywhere. We take all the precautions and we want to think about playing, that's it.
"We are not worried about this problem because we've taken all the precautions.
"I know very well what I have to do if I have the flu. It's not a medical prescription. It's my grandmother's prescription - hot milk. Alcohol - red wine. Fantastic."
Chelsea have told BBC Sport their medical department are taking precautions to ensure the health and well-being of the players.
The HPA's advice warns footballers against spitting, and looks to them as role models for the public to follow.
"Spitting is disgusting at all times. It's unhygienic and unhealthy, particularly if you spit close to other people," said an HPA spokesman.
"Footballers, like the rest of us, wouldn't spit indoors so they shouldn't do it on the football pitch.
"If they are spitting near other people it could certainly increase the risk of passing on infections.
"It's about setting examples for young people who idolise them."
But Ancelotti said he expected other, familiar practices on the field, such as swapping shirts, to carry on.
"We will do the same things we normally do," added the Italian coach.
"It's not a problem. I think the players have stayed very well up to this moment."
Meanwhile, Bolton, who play Chelsea in the Carling Cup fourth round on Wednesday, have revealed four of their players had the virus.
Asked if he was worried about his players coming into contact with Chelsea's, Bolton manager Gary Megson said: "The medical people say it is very difficult, if not impossible, to contract it in that way.
"You are going to get one or two with swine flu and I think on the playing staff I think we have had five, four players and one member of staff.
"They are all okay at the moment, but it wouldn't be right to start giving you names."
Manchester United, who host Blackburn on Saturday, refused to comment, while Rovers' Carling Cup game at Peterborough will go ahead on Tuesday.

Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri and goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski could make their first starts of the season.
With boss Arsene Wenger expected to mix experience with youth, Philippe Senderos and Mikael Silvestre are likely to start in defence. Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez has said midfielder Alberto Aquilani could make his debut with Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres likely to be out.
Winger Albert Riera (hamstring) and Martin Kelly (ankle) are also injured.
But defenders Andrea Dossena and Sotirios Kyrgiakos could both figure having recovered from injuries.
Benitez said of Aquilani's inclusion: "He will be with us. He is improving his fitness, so he's in the squad.
"He cannot start at this moment but he will be there and maybe we can give him some minutes. If it's possible, we will try to use him."
Aquilani played for 15 minutes of a reserve match last week, having been recovering from a knee operation since his arrival at the club in the summer.
The 25-year-old said: "It was good to play for the reserves because I haven't played for a long time, but to play for the first team is something different again and I am looking forward to that."

Online Watch Reading v Leicester, live Streaming Reading v Leicester, The Coca-Cola Football League Championship, highlights Schedule result Football soccer match Leicester will have one eye on the play-off places when they travel to the Madejski Stadium to face Reading on Monday.
The Foxes know that three points over Brendan Rodgers' struggling side will lift them into the top six at the expense of QPR.Meanwhile Reading have lost their last three Championship games and have won just once in eight games while astonishingly the Royals have not won at home since January.
The dismal run of results leaves the club in the bottom three, a position that will hurt Reading fans, many of whom held promotion aspirations at the beginning of the campaign.
Royals news
Reading will be without captain Inver Ingimarsson with the defender sitting out a one-match ban having been dismissed during the 4-1 defeat at QPR last Tuesday.Left-back Ryan Bertrand may return after missing the thrashing at Loftus Road with a head injury so Darren O'Dea should move across from full-back to replace Ingimarsson.
Striker Noel Hunt remains sidelined with a knee injury so manager Rodgers will choose from Grzegorz Rasiak, Simon Church and Shane Long in attack.
Left-back Chris Armstrong remains a long-term absentee after knee surgery in the summer while Czech Republic international Marek Matejovsky is in contention for a first start in a month after impressing for the reserves.
Foxes news
Leicester manager Nigel Pearson has no new injuries to worry him for the trip but Paul Gallagher is expected to start having come off the bench at half-time against Crystal Palace last time out with the score at 0-0 only to grab a brace and secure his side the win.Pearson also handed on-loan Manchester City full-back Ryan McGivern his first start last Tuesday and he will again start ahead of Bruno Berner.
Bulgarian defender Aleksandar Tunchev remains the only absentee as he recovers from another knee operation as Pearson looks to extend the Foxes' unbeaten run to five.
Online Watch West Ham v Arsenal, live Streaming West Ham v Arsenal, Barclays Premier League, highlights Schedule result Football soccer match JustinTV UStream Beleaguered West Ham boss Gianfranco Zola faces another stern test on Sunday as in-form Arsenal make the trip across London to Upton Park, live on Sky Sports 1 and HD1.
Zola's position is coming under ever-increasing scrutiny with the Hammers' only victory of the season arriving on the opening day of the campaign at Wolves.Five defeats and two draws in the seven games that followed have seen West Ham slide into the relegation zone with only struggling Portsmouth below them in the table.
They are up against a Gunners side who have taken maximum points from their last four Premier League outings, scoring 14 goals in the process, to remain hot on the heels of leaders Manchester United.
The visitors will be eager to help manager Arsene Wenger celebrate his birthday in style, with the respected Frenchman reaching the age of 60 on Thursday.
West Ham have failed to find the net in each of their last four top-flight meetings with the North London club, and are relying heavily on the efforts of Carlton Cole this term, with the England international providing four of their nine goals.
Team news
Arsenal are hoping to have striker Eduardo back in action at Upton Park, but Nicklas Bendtner and Tomas Rosicky remain doubtful for the trip to East London.Eduardo is making good progress from a thigh injury, but Bendtner (groin) and Rosicky (knee) are rated at only 50-50 with the trio all having missed the midweek UEFA Champions League draw with AZ Alkmaar.
Goalkeeper Vito Mannone continues to keep Manuel Almunia on the bench despite the regular No.1 being back to fitness, while Lukasz Fabianski and Samir Nasri returned for the reserves in midweek but are unlikely to be rushed back.
Forward Theo Walcott (knee), midfielder Denilson (back) and defender Johan Djorou (knee) remain on the treatment table.
Hammers boss Zola could be tempted to stick with the players on duty for the 2-1 defeat to Stoke at the Britannia Stadium last time out.
Despite watching his troops slip to another defeat, Zola was encouraged by the performance and believes an upturn in fortunes is just around the corner.
Matthew Upson will be fit to feature despite suffering a cut to his head in a first-half clash with Ryan Shawcross, with the injury later opened up again by Robert Huth's swinging arm, an incident which has led to the Potters defender being banned for three matches.
Online Watch Man City v Fulham, live Streaming Man City v Fulham, Barclays Premier League, highlights Schedule result Football soccer match JustinTV UStream TVU Mark Hughes will hope that his side can return to winning ways in Sunday afternoon's Manchester City vs Fulham match.
Whilst Man City have not lost in over a month, their two recent 1-1 draws against Aston Villa and Wigan have been mediocre performances in comparison to their upbeat start.
In fact, the recent draw with Wigan could easily have turned sour for Manchester City if Wigan had been more clinical in their finishing.
After falling behind late in the first half, Martin Petrov fired home an equaliser to start the second half before Pablo Zabaleta was dismissed for his second bookable offence in the 65th minute.
From that moment on, Manchester City was reduced to hanging onto a point, and despite finding themselves in good positions to score on numerous occasions, Wigan couldn’t find a winner.
Zabaleta will be suspended for this Man City vs Fulham fixture and the slim chance of a Robinho return has been ruled out due to a setback in the Brazilian playmaker’s rehabilitation of an ankle injury.
However, both Craig Bellamy and Emmanuel Adebayor are hopeful for a return to the starting squad from injury for this Man City - Fulham meeting, which would give Manchester City some much-needed firepower in their frontline.
Fulham
Fulham will be playing their third match in six days on Sunday when they make the trip to face Manchester City.
In a week that started positively with a 2-0 win against Hull, the Cottagers conceded a late equaliser to Roma in the dying moments of their Europa Cup match on Thursday.
Brede Hangeland had given the hosts a 1-0 lead, but when Stephen Kelly was sent off in the 76th minute, Roma were given the opportunity to get back in the game.
Jeremy Menez failed to score from the spot following Kelly’s challenge, but Marco Andreolli made sure that the Italians didn’t leave empty-handed with his 90th minute equaliser.
Fulham’s team featured a number of changes, most notably Danny Murphy’s omission from his normal midfield post. The former England midfielder is struggling to shake off and injury and is questionable for Sunday’s match, as is Andrew Johnson who now looks to miss out on Man City v Fulham.

Ishmel Demontagnac is available for the last time before serving a three-match ban and defender Ian Evatt could feature following a hamstring strain.

Blades news
Sheffield United's new signing Henri Camara is expected to go straight into Kevin Blackwell's injury-hit squad for the clash.Free agent Camara, who had a recent trial at Bramall Lane, has been signed on a short-term contract until the end of the season and could be involved as Blackwell contends with a crippling injury list.
Jamie Ward (broken wrist), Lee Williamson (back), Derek Geary, Gary Naysmith, James Harper, Nick Montgomery (all knee), Paddy Kenny (drugs ban) and Andrew Davies (knee) all remain sidelined.
Richard Cresswell was forced to play with a rib injury in the midweek defeat at Blackpool and is a major doubt, while fellow striker Darius Henderson is struggling with an ankle problem.
Bluebirds news
Cardiff manager Dave Jones is expected to have no new injury or suspension concerns for the trip.Victory for the Bluebirds, combined with results elsewhere, could take them to the top of the Championship table and Jones will be focused on doing better than the club's last visit to South Yorkshire four weeks ago.
Cardiff went down 3-1 to city rivals Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough, a defeat that has since seen them embark on their four-match unbeaten run.
Jones may well opt to keep faith with the same side that brushed off the challenge of Coventry in midweek, although his biggest selection dilemma may come in midfield with Stephen McPhail, Joe Ledley and Gavin Rae completing for the two central slots.
Forwards Ross McCormack and Warren Feeney and defender Kevin McNaughton have all returned from injury but are unlikely to muscle their way into the starting XI at Bramall Lane.
On-loan forward Kelvin Etuhu is looking to make his return from ankle ligament damage after November's international break.

Seb Hines (knee) is a doubt, but skipper Emanuel Pogatetz could return after his knee injury.
MATCH PREVIEW
Middlesbrough begin the post-Gareth Southgate era hoping to build on a midweek victory against Derby and maintain the impressive away form they have shown this season. Former Celtic boss Gordon Strachan is expected to be installed as the sacked Southgate's successor next week, but coach Colin Cooper will be in charge for the trip to Deepdale.
Preston, who are facing Boro in a league match for the first time in 35 years, also claimed a much-needed victory this week.
Their 2-1 win at Sheffield Wednesday was the perfect way to bounce back from a 4-0 thrashing against QPR last Saturday.

Teenage forward Connor Wickham is away on international duty with the England Under-17 squad.
MATCH PREVIEW
The pressure is on Roy Keane and Paul Sturrock as the Championship's bottom two meet in a potentially crucial match. Ipswich are at the foot of the table having failed to win a league game this season, and a defeat against the struggling team just above them would turn the heat up on boss Keane.
Plymouth manager Sturrock has also been under fire, and a defeat in this match would do nothing to help his cause.
How ironic that Plymouth have turned to an Ipswich legend to try and turn their season around. Former England striker Paul Mariner, who played for both clubs, returns to Home Park as Argyle's head coach.
Head-to-head
• Ipswich are unbeaten in six matches against Plymouth.
• Argyle's only victory in 12 league and cup matches against Ipswich was 2-1 at Home Park in the Championship in April 2006.

Ipswich
• Denied their first league win of the season by Watford's late equaliser in midweek, Ipswich have now lost five points in stoppage time in their last four matches.
• Ipswich have conceded five goals and squandered seven points in the last six minutes. Those points would have put them in the top 15.

• They have picked up four points from the 10 games in which their opponents have scored first.

Scunthorpe team news
Gary Hooper is an injury concern for Scunthorpe as they head out on the road. The former Southend frontman injured his ankle in the midweek victory against Newcastle and will undergo a late fitness test.
If Hooper misses out, boss Nigel Adkins could opt to play Paul Hayes as a lone striker or Jonathan Forte could get the nod to play in attack.
Michael O'Connor returns from suspension, but Martyn Woolford will be hopeful of retaining his place in midfield after scoring both goals in the 2-1 triumph over the Magpies.
Midfielder Josh Wright came through Tuesday's game unscathed after picking up a knock last weekend and the former Charlton man is expected to start once again.

But the Magpies have been boosted by the return of defender Fabricio Coloccini after a groin injury.

Tuesday night's defeat at Scunthorpe was a real blow for the Magpies, who are carrying the pressure of being the Championship team everyone wants to beat.
Doncaster will also relish the chance to take them on and are fresh from a midweek win against Peterborough, which was their first victory in eight games.

But while Gareth Southgate contemplates his next role in football, Derby manager Nigel Clough turns his attention to the televised visit of in-form Queens Park Rangers.QPR were Nigel Clough's first opponents as Derby manager back in January and they spoilt his welcome with a 2-0 win at Pride Park. With eight goals in their last two games, Rangers return to Derby high on confidence and hopeful of a similar outcome.
However, no Championship team has been able to sustain a strong run this season, which explains why just four points separate the leaders West Brom and tenth-placed Rangers.
Injury-hit Derby find themselves three places above the relegation zone but their home form is encouraging; last time out they beat Sheffield Wednesday 3-0 and Bristol City, Peterborough and Plymouth have also been beaten at Pride Park this season.

MATCH PREVIEW
Nottingham Forest are just outside the play-off places and continued their excellent run by beating Barnsley in midweek. But news that Dexter Blackstock could be out for a fortnight with a knee strain is a blow for Billy Davies' side, especially as forwards Nathan Tyson and Rob Earnshaw have also been nursing injuries.
Palace boss Neil Warnock this week laughed off reports he could take over at Notts County, the club he led into the top flight in 1991.

Liam Fontaine remains sidelined with an ankle injury which will keep him out for another three weeks. If Bristol City can improve their away performances they could be strong contenders for automatic promotion.
The Robins are ninth, largely because of their outstanding home form. They are yet to win a Championship game away from Ashton Gate this season and have managed just three goals.
Meanwhile, Barnsley manager Mark Robins has called for a strong response from his players following the midweek defeat at Nottingham Forest.
Barnsley have been impressive under Robins but were denied a useful point when Forest pounced on a defensive lapse to score a last-gasp winner.

• If selected, Lee Johnson will be making his 300th club career appearance. Marvin Elliott could make his 200th league career start.
Online Watch Wolverhampton v Aston Villa live Streaming Wolverhampton v Aston Villa Barclays Premier League highlights Schedule result Football soccer match Wolves winger Michael Kightly sees Aston Villa midfielder James Milner as a good example to young players across the country.
The pair have both featured for the England Under-21 side in recent seasons and Milner is now a full international. "I think he's a good model for every professional footballer, especially young footballers," he told BBC WM.
"He's got a great attitude, he's a very good player and he's had a great career so far."
Kightly added: "I'm sure he'll go one to do great things, he's a good lad as well. If I can copy what he's done, I'll be over the moon with that."
Kightly's debut season in the Premier League got off to a stuttering start as he struggled to regain match fitness following surgery on a foot injury over the summer.
He made his first start in the top flight in the 1-1 draw at Everton last weekend, and is now eager to retain his place for the derby game against Villa at Molineux.
The former Grays Athletic winger sees a parallel between the two clubs, as they both look to sign ambitious home-grown players.
"That's what I like about Villa, there's a lot of young English players - they may have to pay through the roof sometimes for them, but they've done that," said the 23-year old.
"What a great club that club is - I'm hoping we can emulate them and do what they've done for many years in the Premier League."

MATCH PREVIEW
Tottenham's match with Stoke last season, almost a year ago to the day, provided a nadir of the Lilywhites' recent history. A 2-1 defeat, two men sent off, two points from eight games, bottom of the table - the axe was swift to fall on manager Juande Ramos. They have not looked back from that day at the Britannia Stadium and, after last week's win over Portsmouth, boss Harry Redknapp officially completed a full Premier League season of 38 games in charge of Tottenham. His record of 19 wins, eight draws and 11 defeats would have been good enough to have finished in fifth place last season.
The battling victory over Pompey had Spurs fans agreeing in unison that it was a match they almost certainly would have lost in previous seasons.
There is a new resolve to be found at a club that has so often crumbled in the face of adversity and a win on Saturday would see them enter their next league match, the North London derby, above hated adversaries Arsenal in the table.
Stoke arrested a worrying run of four matches without a win by seeing off struggling West Ham last week and scored two goals for only the second time in the league this season.
Manager Tony Pulis will have been delighted to see James Beattie break his goal-scoring duck against the Hammers and he will need more of the same if his side are to triumph at a ground where they have only won once in their history.
MATCH FACTS
Head-to-head• Tottenham have won five and lost only one of their last seven league meetings with Stoke City.
• The overall record between the clubs in all competitions is 37 wins for Tottenham, 21 wins for Stoke and 17 draws.
• Stoke have only beaten Tottenham once in 29 attempts at White Hart Lane - a 2-0 win in 1975.
Tottenham
• Ledley King's goal against Portsmouth made him the 11th player to score in the Premier League for Tottenham this season.
• Manchester United are the only away side to score more than once in the league at White Hart Lane in the last year and Arsenal are the only away side to keep a clean sheet at White Hart Lane in 2009.
• Four of Tottenham's nine Premier League matches have ended in a 2-1 scoreline in Spurs' favour.
Stoke City
• No midfielder has scored for Stoke this season.
• The Potters have never scored more than twice away from home in the Premier League and they have gone over 50 top-flight away games without scoring more than two goals.
• Stoke have drawn their last three away games, their longest unbeaten run on the road in the Premier League

MATCH PREVIEW
Nine games into the 2008/09 season Phil Brown's Hull sat proudly joint second in the table, level on points with Chelsea and ahead of both Manchester United and Arsenal...But 12 months on Brown is under real pressure, with the next four games potentially make or break for the under-fire Tigers manager.
Following the visit of struggling Portsmouth, Hull face Burnley, Stoke and West Ham, matches which could be pivotal to their survival hopes.
Pompey fans will make the 548-mile round trip to Humberside, the longest in this season's top flight, hopeful of a victory that will lift their side off the bottom of the table.
It is no secret that Portsmouth have struggled to score goals this season, with their tally of five the lowest in the top flight.
Summer signing Aruna Dindane missed two golden opportunities to open his Premier League account against Tottenham last week but has vowed to make amends to the Pompey fans.
MATCH FACTS
Head-to-head• Hull's last home win against Portsmouth was on 20 September 1980 when the Tigers triumphed 2-1 at Boothferry Park in an old Division Three match.
• The Tigers' most recent win against Pompey was a 3-1 victory at Fratton Park on 17 September 1988. Since then Portsmouth are unbeaten in seven league games against Hull, though both of last season's meetings ended in draws.
Hull
• The Tigers have lost five of their last six in league and cup.
• Hull have kept only three clean sheets in 23 Premier League games at the KC Stadium.

• Paul Hart's side have the top flight's weakest attack, scoring five goals in nine games.
• Portsmouth's strikers have yet to score a Premier League goal this season.
Online Watch Chelsea v Blackburn live Streaming Chelsea v Blackburn Barclays Premier League highlights Schedule result Football soccer match Blackburn manager Sam Allardyce has added his critcism of Republic of Ireland boss Giovanni Trapattoni over Steven Reid's international future.
Trapattoni had stated that Reid may never fully recover from a knee injury, but Allardyce believes those comments are totally unjustified. "It's completely out of order," the Rovers boss told BBC Radio Lancashire.
"What he [Trapattoni] is talking about is completely untrue and it's something he should apologise for."
Reid admitted he was disappointed by Trapattoni's assertion and is keen to clear up any misunderstanding.
"I feel there's a few issues which need to be put right," said the midfielder.
"I missed the last couple of squads with tendonitis in the Achilles and a small hamstring injury, but my knee has been good for the last couple of months.
"I've said before how much I've enjoyed playing under Mr Trapattoni and the three games I played under him were probably my best.
"He showed a lot of confidence in me in centre midfield and I felt that I really started to make that position my own."
The 28-year-old was sidelined for the whole of the 2008-09 season with a knee injury.
But, after returning to action in the early weeks of this season, he is hopeful of getting regular football again for club and country in the near future.
"Steven's had a long haul," added Allardyce. "[Knee specialist] Dr Richard Steadman is trying to resurrect his career to secure a new contract for Steven.
"He wants to go and play for his country as he's done many times and he's given his all every time he's been there.
"There's not a more honest player you could meet than Steven, and to be dealt that sort of blow at this time he's very disappointed, to say the least."

MATCH PREVIEW
It's a second north west derby in as many weeks for Burnley as Wigan make the 35-mile trip across the M65 to Turf Moor, with the Clarets looking to return to winning ways in front of their own fans after defeat to fierce local rivals Blackburn last weekend. Burnley are the first newly-promoted team in 27 years to win their first four top-flight home matches, since Watford achieved the same feat in 1982-83.
If the Clarets beat Wigan they will become only the fifth promoted side to win their opening five home matches of the season and the first in 28 years since Swansea in 1981-82.
Owen Coyle this week praised his opposite number Roberto Martinez for developing former club Swansea and Wigan both on and off the pitch, similarly to what he has done at Turf Moor. He also admitted comparisons between the two men are inevitable regarding styles of play and team ethics.
Wigan captain Mario Melchiot has told his team mates that after mixing it with the big boys this campaign it's about time they started to produce against the so-called lesser teams, starting with Burnley.
The Latics have beaten Chelsea and Aston Villa this term and drew with Manchester City last weekend. However, they have also been beaten by strugglers Wolves and Hull. Melchiot called for focus and that more respect be shown to the opposition.
MATCH FACTS
Head-to-head• This will be the first top-flight clash between the two clubs, having previously met in all three lower divisions of English football.
• Burnley have only beaten Wigan twice in 16 meetings in all competitions: The Clarets emerged 3-0 victors in their first ever encounter in October 1983, while also winning the most recent match 1-0 in December 2004.
• Both of Burnley's triumphs over Wigan have come at Turf Moor.
• Three of the last five games between the clubs have ended 0-0.
Burnley
• The Clarets have conceded 23 goals in their last eight games in all competitions.
• However, only Chelsea (one) have let in fewer home goals than the two conceded by Burnley so far at Turf Moor.
• Owen Coyle's side have scored only one set-piece goal so far in the Premier League - the fewest in the division.
• Brian Jensen is the only survivor from the last meeting between the clubs nearly five years ago, though Robbie Blake was an unused substitute.
Wigan
• The Latics have lost 10 of their 14 Premier League away games during 2009. Their only victories came at Sunderland last campaign and at Aston Villa in this season's opener.
• If he plays, Jason Scotland will be making his 100th league appearance in England. He has scored 45 goals in 99 games for either Swansea or Wigan.
• Scotland, who was linked with Burnley in the summer, scored twice on his last visit to Turf Moor: a 2-0 win for Swansea over the Clarets last January in the Championship.
• Scotland has played under both Owen Coyle (St Johnstone) and Roberto Martinez (Swansea and Wigan).
Online Watch Birmingham v Sunderland live Streaming Birmingham v Sunderland Barclays Premier League highlights Schedule result Football soccer match The Black Cats boss left the Blues two years ago in an acrimonious departure after failing to secure a new contract and falling out of favour with the City board.
Bruce has since had a successful spell at Wigan before moving to the Stadium of Light, but admits he still feels 'bitter and twisted' about his time at Birmingham, and could receive a hostile reception from the crowd.
City are boosted by the news that defensive duo Franck Queudrue and Stuart Parnaby are available after injury, having not kept a clean sheet at home in the league since August.
Queudrue, who has been converted from left-back into a central defender this season, and right-back Parnaby have been included in the squad after recovering from hamstring problems.
Manager Alex McLeish's injury worries are easing with another back-four player in Gregory Vignal set to resume training next week - also after a hamstring setback.
But on-loan Sunderland midfielder Teemu Tainio is ineligible because of a clause in the deal taking him to St Andrews.
Keith Fahey (ankle) is a major doubt and David Murphy (knee), Giovanny Espinoza and Martin Taylor (both ankle) remain sidelined.
However, Ecuadorian striker Christian Benitez is set to return for the Blues after missing his flight home in time for the last game, and Garry O'Connor is also available.
Sunderland news
Sunderland come into the game in good form having beaten Liverpool last time out, thanks to a Darren Bent strike that controversially rebounded off a beach ball into Pepe Reina's net.Bent is in potent form in front of goal at the moment, topping the Premier League's scoring chart alongside Fernando Torres, and Birmingham will have to be on their toes to keep him at bay.
The Black Cats will be without Lee Cattermole who picked up a serious medial knee ligament injury against Liverpool, and he is likely to be sidelined for 12 weeks.
Bruce will welcome back Kieran Richardson to the fold after he missed the 1-0 victory over Liverpool after being sent off at Manchester United.
Powerful striker Kenwyne Jones faces a race to be fit for the St Andrews trip, as he tries to overcome an ankle knock, while John Mensah (calf) is out and Bolo Zenden and Andy Reid are set to play.
George McCartney is in contention though following a chest infection that saw him substituted at half-time against the Reds last Saturday.

Online Watch Wolfsburg v Besiktas live Streaming Uefa Champions League highlights Schedule result Football soccer match JustinTV UStream TVU SopCast Freedocast Wolfsburg got off to a great start in the Champions League, even though they lost at Old Trafford. Things are not going so well in Bundesliga, but they are still holding on at the top. The wolves will start this match eager to take three new points and get closer to the next stage. Besiktas started this season with high ambitions and brought many quality players, but the changes had a negative effect.
German champions are doing well in the Champions League, which only shows that they deserved the title in one of the world's strongest leagues. Coach Veh has all of the players at disposal, so it is only logical for him to expect the second win in this competition. The European campaign somewhat affected team's performance in the league, but that was expected. Still, the wolves are five points behind league leaders which is not a big gap. The last round saw them give great display at Old Trafford. They had the lead for quite a while in the match and if they had more experience and luck they could have taken even all three points. Wolfsburg showed that they are matching rivals for any team in Europe, so Besiktas don’t stand much chance here. Attacking tandem Dzeko-Grafite is again terrorizing the opposing defenders and they will be the main threat for the visiting keeper here. Wolfsburg are always aggressive and there is no reason why they should change that now. The strongest squad will go out on the pitch to give a hard time to the visitors on Wednesday night.
The Turks arrive after two straight league wins, so the atmosphere in the club is somewhat better. Still, they are already nine points behind the leading two in Turkey and few people give them any chance of getting back to the title race. They are not doing so well in Europe, either. They lost the first two matches and if they lose this one too, they will have the chance to continue the competition only in Europa League. The club had much higher ambitions before the season started. They signed Nihat Kahveci, Ferrari, Fink, Tabata, Koybasi to help the team finally achieve something more in Europe and win another title in Turkey. It seems that the players didn’t fit in as expected, so the results are way below expectations. The last two wins are a certain boost and a hope that Besiktas will start a winning run, but I think that this match will show that they need to work harder on their form. Wolfsburg are a much better team than both Kasimpasa and Denizli. Besiktas' defense seems stable, but the midfielders seem focused on defense, so the attack is not quite working. They desperately need to win, but I think that they would settle for a point here. In order to get that point, the Turks will have to score at least one goal.
The visitors will rely on counterattacks and try to use the empty space, offensive hosts will definitely leave them. But the killer attacking tandem will create a lot of problems and if you ask me, we will see goals galore here. Anyway, we always do on Wolfsburg games. Wolves’ win is imminent but the odds are low, so I chose to bet on the hosts with a handicap. Online bookmakers offer over 2.00 on -1 handicap, and I believe that Wolfsburg have learnt their lesson in Manchester and they will show it here. It would be a shame to miss this match, as it will be an open game, so perhaps you can try with over 3.5 goals.
Online Watch Real Madrid v AC Milan live Streaming Uefa Champions League highlights Schedule result Football soccer match JustinTV UStream TVU SopCast Freedocast and External P2P Review
Coming into Wednesday night's Real Madrid vs AC Milan fixture, the hosts could very easily adopt the slogan No Ronaldo, no problem.
At least not against Valladolid as Real Madrid were able to put in another solid offensive display despite the loss of their flamboyant Portuguese playmaker.
Raul, as he so often does, picked up the slack in the absence of Cristiano Ronaldo to lead Real Madrid with two early goals, and from then on, Real had Valladolid chasing the match.
That’s not to say Valladolid didn’t make things interesting, as they were aggressive and showed flashes of quality that troubled the Madrid team.
Still, with Kaká rested for approximately 75% of the match in anticipation of Wednesday’s Real Madrid vs Milan bout, Manuel Pellegrini always seemed a step up on the visitors.
Real Madrid have enjoyed success on all fronts this season and a win against AC Milan would put them on nine points after three matches, a total likely worthy of reaching the knockout stages...
AC Milan are back in winning form! Or at least that is what Sunday night’s 2-1 victory over Roma suggests.
The Italians, who have struggled to find any consistency this season, will look to build on what was a fairly decent performance against Roma.
After falling behind only three minutes into the match, AC Milan rallied in the second half to equalise on a Ronaldinho penalty after Nicolas Burdisso was judged to have brought down Alessandro Nesta in the box. Milan later found the winner through Alexandre Pato just 11 minutes later.
The fact that Wednesday’s Real Madrid v Milan meeting immediately succeeds the victory can be seen in a number of ways, but fans of AC Milan hope that a confidence boost, rather than a confidence blow, will keep their club moving in the right direction.
Pato was back on the scoresheet for Leonardo’s club on Sunday and will have to continue scoring if AC Milan are to move up through the ranks and reclaim their “normal” status.
