What crisis I hear many of you say & indeed Manchester United are certainly not in crisis but if you believe sections of the media & increasing groups of fans that would be the perception.

Manchester United currently sit 2nd in the Premier League with 6 wins & 1 draw from their first 8 games & those statistics destroy the 'crisis' theory & it is more to do with Manchester United not being as impressive as they have been in recent seasons.

The big obvious reason for that in Ronaldo, Manchester United have lost the best player in the world & the one player within the team who could change games with his own ability.

Yes Manchester United have Wayne Rooney who has had a fantastic start to the season but neither Rooney or anybody else in the Manchester United squad can change games like Ronaldo can & that is something they have to solve.

Manchester United's team selection has also been unsettled this season & that has definitely been a factor in their performances not being as expressive or convincing.

What has not changed is their unbelievable desire to fight for everything & that still makes them incredibly hard opponents to play against & even harder to beat.

We expect Bolton will be tested to the full on saturday with Manchester United motivated & determined to prove their below par performance against a very good Sunderland side was a one off & they will have to be prepared for that.

Gary Megson is a manager who has great faith in himself & his strengths are giving that belief to his players & knowing exactly what they are capable of in each game they play.

Gary Megson has done a very good job at Bolton & certainly this season he looks to be developing a team that is ready to smash the old theory that Bolton are purely a strong, physical side who rely on set pieces & route one football.

We must admit that was our perception of Bolton but we hold our hands up & say we got that wrong because Bolton have produced some fantastic football in recent matches & the 2nd goal they scored against Tottenham must already rank as one of the team goals of the season.

Jussi Jaaskelainen, Matt Taylor & Kevin Davies have been Bolton's main players in recent seasons & indeed they still are but this season Bolton do look stronger with players such as Gary Cahill & Tamir Cohen really excelling & they are also having a major impact on the team.

Gary Megson will know what to expect from Manchester United in this game & particularly if Wayne Rooney is fit because he has an excellent scoring record against Bolton but nevertheless he will set Bolton up accordingly knowing that he has a team who can take advantage if Manchester United have another off-day.

Manchester United have dominated this fixture in the past & certainly a fully on form Manchester United would be expected to win with comfort but we don't see it that way this time around & there is definite betting value in opposing Manchester United here.

Given how tough Manchester United are to beat makes it even harder to predict a Bolton win & while the odds for that are incredibly tempting, we feel Bolton have the capacity to put up a really good fight here & that makes a scoring draw a value bet well worth taking here.
